NETWORK SYNCHRONIZATION
ADGCE was contracted to deliver a Physical Network Synchronization project for a leading utility Company in the UAE. The aim of this project was to enhance the accuracy of the Water and Electric GIS data which was captured by our client from different data sources. The GIS data would be ultimately used to issue NOCs. Consequently, the route and the depth of the existing GIS data must be accurate to safely issue NOCs; – otherwise severe damage could occur from excavation based on inaccurate information.
The field survey work was divided into 3 main tracks:
✤Track 1: Survey of low confidence data and High Clearance Requests areas
Electric to be verified – 2,008 Kms
Electric to be surveyed – 1,875 Kms
✤Track 2: Survey of non-linked Assets between Maximo and GIS
HV Network – 2,600 Kms
LV Network – 1,421 Kms
✤Track 3: Survey of Electrical Meters
